Anxiety

Anxiety refers to apprehensive anticipation of a future event. It is sometimes associated with muscle tension, avoidance behavior, and excessive worry. Conditions Treated: General Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, and others.

Mood Disorders

Mood Disorder is a term that describes all types of depression and bipolar disorders. Conditions Treated: Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar I & II Disorders, Substance-Induced Mood Disorders, and others.

Behavioral Disorders

Behavioral disorders involve a pattern of disruptive behaviors in children that last for at least 6 months, and cause problems in school, at home, and in social interactions. Conditions Treated: Attention-Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Impulsivity, Criminal Behavior, Substance Abuse, and others.

Trauma Disorders

Trauma-related disorders are a group of emotional and behavioral problems that may result from traumatic and stressful experiences at all ages. Conditions Treated: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Acute Stress Disorder (ASD), Adjustment Disorder, and others.

Eating Disorders

An eating disorder is an excessive preoccupation with food and dissatisfaction with one’s body shape or weight. Conditions Treated: Anorexia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia Nervosa, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, and others.

Substance Use

Substance use disorders are diagnosed when clients report recurrent use of alcohol and/or drugs, thus causing clinically significant impairment, health problems, disability, and failure to meet major responsibilities at work, school, or home. Conditions Include: Opioid Use Disorder, Stimulant Use Disorder, Alcohol Use Disorder, Sedative Use Disorder, and others.

Student Wellness Programs

Workshops and group sessions for schools and youth organizations, focused on emotional literacy, stress management, and resilience-building.

Genetic Testing for Psychiatric Medication

An optional tool to help guide medication decisions based on individual genetic profiles. Coverage varies; patients are encouraged to check with their insurance.
